Open Heart Surgery... Really?
If anyone would have told me I was going to have a double bypass open heart surgery in my early 40s, I would have thought they were crazy.
I am "young", "eat well", "exercise", and all the things that people with heart disease don't do. As I laid in my bed post surgery, I realized I am not as young as I think I am, I don't eat well, and I don't exercise like I should.
I hope to share my story to help others recovering from heart surgery or to never end up having to get heart surgery.
For those that have, we know the last thing you want to do is have a doctor slice your chest open, break your chest bone, open your rib cage, stop your heart, then put you back together again (I'm having pain just thinking about it).
I hope you enjoy my story and my page.
